Come every 25th December, every child expects Christmas to be a celebration of receiving presents, fun and games. We like to arrange family dinners and churches sing carols. High street stores, online shops and Christmas markets put out attractive advertisements, grabbing our attention in order to sell us Christmas gifts and pubs and clubs are full of Christmas party seekers. Despite the ongoing pandemic, our Heavenly Father is still with us. In fact, we are experiencing His presence and peace more than ever.
Peace be with you. As I write this letter, my mood is beyond description. These days, peace is the key word in my mind. This summer I and my sister and her family went to Serbia for a ten days holiday, but the whole journey was full of adventure. For example: the rented car just has problems on the way while there is no garage around us; we drive on the opposite way of the highway due to a bad reading of a local sign; the way we drive is just at the edge of the cliff, I was too scared to drive; the accommodation we will stay at is not in the search scheme of the GPS, we had no local phone to get in connection with the house owner. So much and so forth, I would dare not think about it, yet I learnt more about God’s Grace as all these difficulties got sorted out. [Read more…]
